Policy

Code of conduct.

Short, because it has to be followed, not admired.

  1. Ask first, every time.

No touching anyone, or anything that belongs to them, without clear permission. That includes performers, vendors, staff and other attendees. A costume is not consent. A booth is not consent.

  2. 18 and over, with ID.

Everyone on the floor showed government-issued photo ID at the door. Alcohol is served in 21+ areas only, to wristband holders only.

  3. No nudity, no explicit material.

Attendees, performers and exhibitors follow the venue's dress standards and Houston ordinances. Programming stays inside what the venue agreement allows.

  4. Photography has rules.

The vendor floor and the main stage are fine. The wellness lounge, the education rooms and the late-night program are not. Never photograph another attendee without asking.

  5. Security is on the floor all weekend.

Anyone who breaks these rules is removed without a refund. If something happens to you, find any staff member or security officer; they will take it from there.

This policy is printed on every badge and posted at every entrance. It applies to attendees, performers, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and staff alike. Questions before the show: admin@thepleasureexpo.com.
